EXTRACTIONS

Although our goal is to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime, sometimes the best or only possible treatment is extraction of a tooth. In such a situation, our goal is to provide a safe and painless extraction. Sometimes, we will recommend a treatment to help preserve the bone in the area which makes it possible to place an implant in the future.

WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTIONS

Dr. Tappuni will assess each patient individually and perform wisdom teeth extraction procedures when appropriate, with your comfort and healing as the primary concern.

BONE GRAFTING

Bone grafting can repair sites with inadequate bone structure due to previous extractions, gum disease or injuries. This gives us the opportunity to replace missing teeth in the area with implants of adequate width and size and to stabilize adjacent teeth by enhancing the integrity of surrounding bone.

IMPLANTS

Implants are titanium screws that are placed in the bone where a tooth has been lost. The implant is designed to act as the root of the missing tooth. A customized crown that matches the adjacent teeth is then attached to the implant to mimic the tooth that has been lost.
